Responsibilities
- Working with Project team to undertake the installation, configuration, maintenance of network system solutions.
- Work in fast-paced environment with tight schedule with dynamic project teams which include planning, designing, scoping and creating technical documents such as project documents, Scope of Work (SOW), etc ...
- Work closely with product vendors to address, track and ensure timely closure of system support tickets as well as providing 7x24 supports on rotating basis.
- To stay abreast with new technologies and product updates by regularly participating in new product education and technology transfer training as well as seminars.
- Provide regularly project & progress reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma Degree in IT.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in system integrating environment.
- Cisco CCNP certification is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of Cisco Networking administration (Switching/Routing/Security)
- Configuring and managing Network Management Tools, such as HP OpenView, BMC Patrol, SolarWind, or FireScope.
- Configuring and troubleshooting of Network Acceleration / Optimization solutions like Riverbed, Silverpeak, Cisco WAAS, etc.
- Must possess good network troubleshooting skill.
- Self-motivated, proactive & customer oriented attitude to be able to work on tight schedule and provide 24x7 standby support.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are needed in order to work successfully with customers and cross-functional teams to meet performance and organization goals.
